Mann enjoyed a career year in 2023, his first season with the Eagles.
The 26-year-old registered single-season franchise records in gross punting average (49.8) and net punting average (43.9), eclipsing the previous marks set by Cameron Johnston in 2018 (48.2 gross, 42.7 net). Mann’s gross punting average and net punting average were the best marks of his four-year career.
Mann was among the best punters in the NFL this season, ranking sixth in net punting average and eighth in yards per punt. He also served as the holder for Elliott.
The former Texas A&M standout signed with the Eagles’ practice squad in Week 3 and was elevated to the active roster for Weeks 3, 4, and 5, before being signed to the 53-man roster on October 12.
Before joining the Eagles, Mann spent his first three seasons with the New York Jets. During his rookie season, he led the league in punts (82) and punting yards (3,598). Mann was selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Jets. – Owen Boyle
