It was a bit of a shock when running back Noah Whittington went down to a knee injury in the Colorado game. Fortunately, the Ducks still had Bucky Irving and Jordan James to pick up the slack.
Now at the 2024 season is right around the corner with Spring Practices beginning, head coach Dan Lanning offered up an update to Whittington’s status.
“We’re being conscientious of where he’s at. They’re doing a really good job in the treatment program,” Lanning said. “He’s way ahead of schedule and has done a really good job there but we’ll be conscientious through that with spring.”
It’s not necessary to push things for Whittington in the coming weeks, but thankfully for the Ducks that it’s one less thing to worry about and their tailback should be good to go this fall.
