The Wisconsin Badgers football team offered JC Anderson, a 6-foot-7, 230-pound tight end from Mt Zion, Illinois, on Tuesday. The sophomore at Mt Zion High School is a member of the 2026 recruiting class and he still has two more years before he could make the leap to the college game.
Although Anderson is still a ways away from making any sort of decision, he has now received 10 Division 1 offers, seven of which have come from within the Big Ten. As of right now, none of the “top dogs” in college football are in on him, but considering his size, if he progresses in his junior year, many teams will join the race for his talents in 2026.
The Badgers will be entering their second season under head coach Luke Fickell in 2024 and a good campaign would certainly bode well for their recruiting of Anderson, not to mention all athletes moving forward.
Blessed to receive an offer to play football at the University of Wisconsin!!⚪️🔴 @patricketherton @NateLetton @AllenTrieu @EDGYTIM @adamgorney @OJW_Scouting pic.twitter.com/fBUcU9EHaA
