Oregon running backs Jordan James, left, and Noah Whittington work out during spring camp for the Oregon Ducks Thursday, March 14, 2024.
“There’s always competition here. I mean, we think we have one of the best rosters in the country with our skill players. Yeah, we lost Troy, but I believe in Traeshon Holden and I believe in Gary Bryant. Tez Johnson is one of the best players in the country. Terrance Ferguson, we need to, I need to get him the ball more. You know, he’s a fantastic receiver too. You know, Bucky had 56 catches last year 53, so we expect Noah Whittington to be healthy for the season to be a guy that can catch the ball out of the backfield So, yeah, there is some production or be replaced, but I feel confident with the guys that we have, you know, Jurrion is stepping up, some of these young receivers, you’re able to see them in practice, make plays on the field. So it’s exciting times, Kenyon Sadiq’s had a great camp so far, just two practices. He’s another guy that’s a matchup nightmare with his speed in the slot and can line up all over the field. So it’ll be fun for me this year to try to get everybody the ball you know, so it’s a good problem to have.”
