The Dallas Cowboys were unfashionably late as usual to the start of the new league year. Stephen Jones’ strategy has always been to allow the overspending to subside before entering the fray. Generally this is a good idea as teams overpay for free agents. The problem is the Cowboys never move on identifying which free agents are actually worth the price. They’d rather miss out on those players instead of missing on a player they invest in.
So not much has changed when it comes to their projected starting lineup for 2024. The club does have a slew of high-level talent still on board, at least for the coming season. What happens after that is still a mystery with not only several key players in the final year of their deals, but the coaching staff as well. Here’s a position by position run down of what the Cowboys have on their offseason roster, including who is on the top line of the depth chart.
