The Washington Commanders, led by general manager Adam Peters, entered NFL free agency last week with a clear mission to improve the 2024 roster without sacrificing future flexibility.
Mission accomplished.
The Commanders signed 14 free agents in the first week, using their ample cap space to shore up several positions, such as edge rusher, linebacker and the interior offensive line, with plenty of room to make any additional moves.
