When you consider that former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields has improved and shown that he’s a top tier player over the past two seasons, it wasn’t a surprise to find out that he got traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers considering the Chicago Bears hold the top pick in the NFL draft.
What was surprising was the return of the Bears, just a 6th round pick, with the potential for it to turn into a fourth rounders if Fields plays over 51% of the snaps this coming season. For a team that used assets to move up and draft him, for them to get such a minimal return is out of the ordinary.
