Tennessee Titans Twitter reacts to Sebastian Joseph-Day signing

The Tennessee Titans finally made an addition to their defensive line on Tuesday, with the team agreeing to terms with Sebastian Joseph-Day.

Tennessee needed a pair of starters upfront once Denico Autry left for the Houston Texans, and the versatile Joseph-Day, who can play all over the line, fills one of those spots alongside Jeffery Simmons, and most likely at nose tackle.

Unsurprisingly, SJD had his best showings while playing next to Aaron Donald with the Los Angeles Rams, which led to him getting a sizeable three-year, $24 million deal from the Los Angeles Chargers in 2022 that didn’t exactly pan out.

The good news is, the former team captain will get a chance to play next to another elite interior lineman in Tennessee with Big Jeff, so it stands to reason the 28-year-old could bounce back.

Either way, he’s a big upgrade for a defensive line room that was – and still is – very thin. Here’s how Titans Twitter reacted to the news.
