As teams like the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets illustrated this past season, quarterback play is as important as ever in today’s NFL. It’s tough to reach that next level without a quality quarterback, but a QB can only succeed with a competent supporting cast.

NFL free agency got off to a fast start with Kirk Cousins signing in Atlanta, Russell Wilson going to Pittsburgh and Gardner Minshew taking his talents to Las Vegas. While the 2024 NFL draft is still a month away, the recent free-agent activity has already shifted expectations around the league.
