5 Things To Know About Seahawks Guard Tremayne Anchrum Jr.

Every year, each NFL team announces their nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. And in 2022, the Los Angeles Rams named Tremayne Anchrum Jr. their nominee. While he did not go on to win the award, Anchrum Jr. made an impact on the community around him in a big way. In his rookie season, he started volunteering at a Boys and Girls Club in East Los Angeles working with the youth four to five times a week for a few hours.

“I love ball, it’s a big part of who I am,” Anchrum Jr. said. “But it’s not all of who I am. I’m definitely someone who’s in touch with spirituality, the community, making sure that I’m being a good person and helping people.”

When asked about community work, Anchrum Jr. said, “I will have to see how the city is here, to figure out what best will help the area. Once I learn the area I will definitely be [figuring out ways to help].”
