The Buffalo Bills have added another to their defensive tackle group via free agency.
DeShawn Williams has signed a one-year deal in Buffalo. The 31-year-old has played for the Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, and most recently the Carolina Panthers.
Williams entered the NFL in 2015 as a rookie undrafted free agent with the Bengals. He then spent four years with the Broncos before his lone year with the Panthers.
In 2022, Williams had a career-year. He recorded 37 tackles, 4.5 sacks and three passes defensed. In 66 career games (44 starts), Williams has nine sacks.
Williams joins the Bills alongside Austin Johnson. He reportedly signed in Buffalo earlier this week but the team only just confirmed that news alongside the Williams update. That new duo join the Bills as depth options behind the likes of Ed Oliver and DaQuan Jones at defensive tackle.
