With the 2024 NFL draft now just four weeks away, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ remaining needs are becoming pretty clear.
The Jaguars will likely be on the hunt for help at wide receiver, cornerback, and along the offensive and defensive lines. But what’s at the top of the priority list? And which position is set up to fall into Jacksonville’s lap at the No. 17 pick?
At BetMGM, oddsmakers have set betting lines for what position the Jaguars will take with their first pick next month. Here’s every position, ranked from the most likely to least likely to be the Jaguars’ pick, according to the odds:

Toledo’s Quinyon Mitchell, Alabama’s Terrion Arnold, and Clemson’s Nate Wiggins could all fit the bill as the Jaguars look for corner help in Ryan Nielsen’s defense.

If the Jaguars trade up from No. 17, it could be for LSU’s Malik Nabers or Washington’s Rome Odunze. If they don’t, Texas’ Adonai Mitchell or LSU’s Brian Thomas Jr. could be the pick.

The Jaguars have a pretty stellar duo in Josh Allen and Travon Walker, but there’s no depth behind the pair. If the team chose to add another to the mix, UCLA’s Laiatu Latu and Florida State’s Jared Verse could fit the bill.

The Jaguars seem to have a starting lineup in place with Cam Robinson, Ezra Cleveland, Mitch Morse, Brandon Scherff, and Anton Harrison. Still, that’s not much different than the group that struggled to do much of anything in 2023. Jacksonville could hunt for an upgrade at just about any position and Washington’s Troy Fautanu, Georgia’s Amarius Mims, and Oregon’s Jackson Powers-Johnson all make some sense.

We’ve arrived at the long shots. Minnesota’s Tyler Nubin is widely considered the best safety of the class, but there’s no reason for the Jaguars to address the position early with Andre Cisco and Antonio Johnson set to start with Darnell Savage and Andrew Wingard providing depth.
