Oklahoma’s defensive line haul in the 2025 recruiting class won’t resemble what the Sooners signed and brought in for the 2024 cycle. The Sooners brought in five players in 2024 in the prior year, and the overall depth of the position in 2025 isn’t as star-studded.
However, finding talent nationwide will take careful evaluations to ensure the Sooners still add to the room. The Sooners already have at least one defensive line commit: three-star Ka’Mori Moore. With their recent offer to Christian Evans out of Virginia, the Sooners have identified another potential target for the interior defensive line.
Evans is a sturdily built 6-foot-3 prospect who weighs around 280 pounds. He is a good athlete who uses power to accomplish most of his work.
Evans’s recruitment looks very regional at this point, with teams like North Carolina, Virginia, Penn State, Tennessee, Maryland, and Duke in on him. The Sooners have some work to do, but over the last few cycles, it’s obvious they aren’t scared to go to the East Coast and battle it out for prospects.
