22 Free agents Cowboys could still consider adding in 2024

List of released free agents that may be of interest to Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys had a mission that differed from what most fans hoped their 2024 offseason would look like. After falling woefully short of their championship goals and getting embarassed at home in the wild-card round, fans hoped they would finally find help through free agency. Instead the front office allowed several of their own to migrate away from the state of Texas, and they did nothing to counteract those losses.

Now the team, with just three picks in the first four rounds of the draft, are left with several holes needing to be filled. Forget the fact they haven’t come up with extensions for quarterback Dak Prescott nor wideout CeeDee Lamb, both playing in the final years of their deals. Dallas has weak depth charts at running back, offensive line, defensive tackle and linebacker. They could use more depth at wideout, defensive end and cornerback. There are several names at those positions still worth considering on the free agent market.

The Athletic recently updated their list of available players, here’s a look at those who could fit in Dallas.
