Texas A&M safety Bryce Anderson makes DCTF’s top safety list

Texas A&M recently had seven other Aggies make Dave Campbell’s Top five best in the state list for the 2024 season so far. There is no denying that Coach Mike Elko will have much talent to work with in his first season at the helm. One of the top priorities on his list was to reestablish the relationship with the Texas high school coaches and really make sure he was pursuing homegrown talent.

For the safety group, Texas A&M’s Bryce Anderson landed in the Top 5, and new defensive coordinator Jay Bateman would like to see him take the next step as he enters his junior season penciled in as one of the starters. Anderson had a solid sophomore season on a team where the secondary was a huge liability. Here is Anderson’s impressive stat line during the 2023 campaign: Total tackles (55), Sacks (1.5), Forced fumbles (1), Interceptions (1), and Pass break ups (4).

All the information and projections below were pulled from senior writer Mike Craven at Dave Campbell’s official website.
