The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for the 2024 NFL Draft later this month, and while first-year prospects are the team’s primary focus, several notable free agents remain available for signing.
General manager Brett Veach has addressed several of the Chiefs’ needs during the early stages of the offseason but could decide to fill out Kansas City’s roster before the draft kicks off in Detroit, Michigan.
The additions of Marquise Brown, Irv Smith, and Carson Wentz were high points for the Chiefs early in free agency, but outside of their signings, Kansas City has mostly worked to retain talent that was on its roster for Super Bowl LVIII.
Though the most recognizable free agents that were available early in March have already signed with teams around the league, many players who could play important roles for the Chiefs are still on the market.
