TUCSON, Ariz. – The Arizona Wildcats were back in the stadium for day nine of spring practice. The team played its longest scrimmage of camp so far.

Both sides of the ball notched highlights during the longest scrimmage session of spring ball. An impressive crowd of Wildcat fans packed the east side stands and enjoyed the non-stop action.

Montana Lemonious-Craig made an outstanding grab over the head of a defensive back during one-on-ones. The Cats were stout against the run and interrupted the passing game during the scrimmage. Treydan Stukes made an interception in the end zone to turn away the offense.

The Wildcats conclude spring practice with the Red vs. Blue Spring Game on April 27 at 6 p.m. inside Arizona Stadium.

After practice, Tight Ends Coach Matt Adkins, and tight ends Keyan Burnett and Dorian Thomas spoke with the media.

“Hopefully if we do it right, our two-tight end sets, we can throw the ball at a high rate but we’re also extremely efficient in the run game and cause defensive coordinators a lot of stress.” – Tight Ends Coach/Pass Game Coordinator Matt Adkins.
