How Georgia football transfers fared in G-Day game

Saturday’s G-Day matchup ended with a tie between the red and black teams. Georgia football fans got a first look at the incoming transfers brought in by the Bulldogs this offseason.

Georgia’s spring game consisted of a heavy dose of passing and a lot of vanilla play calls (by design). The Bulldogs passed on over 73% of their 116 offensive plays (not including special teams plays). Georgia quarterback Carson Beck threw for 301 passing yards on 45 attempts. Defensively, outside linebacker Mykel Williams recorded an interception. Linebacker Raylen Wilson finished with a game-high eight tackles. Wilson’s running mate at inside linebacker, CJ Allen, impressed as well, recording five solo tackles and an interception.
