The Seattle Seahawks finished last year with a second straight 9-8 season. The similarities between both campaigns were eerie, but with one notable difference: the 2023 Seahawks did not make the playoffs.
Seattle’s lack of a postseason appearance last yar is not doing much to dissuade optimism among the team, especially from linebacker Uchenna Nwosu. Nwosu recently spoke to the media to express his feelings on what he thinks the 2024 Seahawks can do.
Uchenna Nwosu, what do you expect from your 2024 #Seahawks? “I expect a good playoff run…We’ve got all the players. I feel like we’ve got the right coaches now. These coaches seem committed. They are really putting in the time and effort so far.” https://t.co/lIlZHkFxbS

It is the dawn of a new era in Seattle. The Seahawks moved on from easily the most successful head coach in franchise history. While they seemingly landed the No. 1 coach option in former Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, ultimately Macdonald and his staff have not proven anything yet. Macdonald’s Seahawks have plenty to show us.
Still, it is comforting to see such vocal support from strong defensive leaders such as Nwosu.
