Austin Corbett’s transition to center is a nice thought. And hey, maybe it does end up working out for them in the middle.
But this move is no sure thing.
For one, Corbett has never logged a regular-season snap from the center position. He’s also sustained two serious knee injuries over the last two seasons.
At the very least, the Panthers need to find an insurance policy for this experiment.
