One of the most talented cornerbacks in the 2025 recruiting class has narrowed his list of finalists down to just five schools. Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers have made the cut.
LSU joins TCU, Texas A&M, Texas and Arkansas for Caleb Chester, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound, three-star cornerback in the 2025 recruiting class. Chester is from Missouri City, Texas, where he plays for Fort Bend Marshall High School.
At this time, Chester has received Crystal Ball projections to Texas and the Longhorns are an 83% favorite to land him per On3. The Tigers recruiting staff has had to compete against Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns coaching staff for multiple recruits lately. LSU has won some of those battles and has come up short on other ones.
The LSU recruiting class for 2025 is currently ranked as the No. 3 recruiting class in the country by 247Sports. That puts LSU right behind Ohio State and Notre Dame.
