Marshawn Kneeland had top-30 visit with Buffalo Bills

Defensive end Marshawn Kneeland took a visit with the Buffalo Bills prior to the 2024 NFL draft.

According to The Draft Network, the Western Michigan product was in Orchard Park last week:

While the defensive line might not be the first position the Bills will look to add to at the upcoming draft, Buffalo will likely do so at some point during the event.

The likes of Von Miller, Greg Rousseau and AJ Epenesa will lead the line for the Bills’ pass rush in 2023. Kneeland could be a rotational option that Buffalo gives time to develop thanks to that depth.

By having a top-30 visit with Kneeland, Buffalo does appear to have some legitimate interest in him. The Bills are allowed to have up to 30 draft prospects in for pre-draft workouts, meetings, and more, and they decided to allocate one of those to Kneeland.

Kneeland, a senior, had 57 tackles, including 7.5 for loss, with 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in 2023.

TDN praises Kneeland’s run defending and versatility across the defensive front. The Bills coaching staff will love the latter. However, there are concerns raised over his ability to consistently bring down ball carriers in the backfield.

Pro Football Focus has Kneeland at No. 63 on their pre-draft big board.
