QBs go 1-2-3, Vikings and Patriots trade up

We did it—we all made it to the week of the 2024 NFL Draft. Teams are back in the building after taking the weekend to collect their thoughts, and draft preparations are being completed. At Vikings Wire, we are putting our own finishing touches on things.

What better way to put a bow on things than by giving everyone one final mock draft?

When we say final mock draft, we, of course, mean a round-one mock draft. Friday morning, we will have a day two mock draft with rounds two and three, and then the final bow will be a day three mock draft for rounds four through seven.

For now, enjoy this round-one mock draft with all the trades and chaos you could ever hope for, thank you for following along with us on this journey.

TRADE

The Vikings did it; they traded up for their quarterback, and in this case, it is J.J. McCarthy. Look for Sam Darnold to be the guy in 2024 but in case of emergency they may break the glass and plug him in sooner rather than later.
