Vikings, Broncos trade up for a QB in 2-round mock

Wide receivers dominate first five picks

It’s NFL draft time, and no GM in the league makes better use of the board than Philadelphia Eagles top executive Howie Roseman.

Philadelphia’s GM has conducted more than 41 draft-day trades over the past ten years, not including the 2015 draft when coach Chip Kelly snatched personnel control.

The league is now an arms race, and the only sure thing for Thursday night’s first round is that quarterback Caleb Williams (USC) will be the Chicago Bears’ No. 1 overall pick. With the final week of rumors and preparation starting to heat up, here’s an updated three-round mock draft that’ll see the Vikings and Broncos make massive trades for quarterbacks.

Williams finished his collegiate career with 120 total touchdowns, and after adding more weapons to the offense, Chicago properly resets at the QB spot.

The Vikings move up from the 11th pick to the 3rd to nab UNC star Drake Maye or replace Kirk Cousins. Maye threw 62 touchdown passes over the past two seasons for the Tarheels, and throwing to Justin Jefferson should correct those accuracy issues.
