Following the NFL Draft on Saturday, Executive Vice President/General Manager Nick Caserio also shared his enthusiasm about the month ahead for the Texans on the practice fields at the Houston Methodist Training Center.

“We’re excited with where the team is,” Caserio said. “Excited with the players that are going to come in here in a few weeks. It’s football season.”

On Monday May 20, the rookies will join the veterans for Organized Team Activities (OTAs), with a workout on the next day, followed by another on Thursday, May 23.

Three consecutive days of OTAs happen the week after, starting on Wednesday, May 29.

The 3-day mandatory minicamp wraps up the offseason program, June 4-6.

After that, the Texans won’t return to the practice fields until Training Camp begins in mid-July.
