We are nearing the highly-anticipated release of EA Sports College Football 25. After an 11-year hiatus, the college football video game is expected to be released this summer, and we learned Friday that Colorado’s Travis Hunter will be featured among several other stars on the deluxe edition cover.
Largely due to lawsuits regarding name, image and likeness (NIL) rights for student-athletes who were included in the game, EA Sports discontinued the beloved video game for over one decade. Those issues have been erased, however, with the current NIL landscape that the college world is living in. Players were allowed to opt into being a part of this year’s edition.
Hunter was among the first players to opt into the game. The Buffs’ cornerback/wide receiver has now seemingly landed a spot on the deluxe edition cover alongside Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Michigan running back Donovan Edwards and several other star players.
