Social media reactions to Drake Maye at New England Patriots minicamp

Former North Carolina Tar Heels’ quarterback Drake Maye participated in his first practices of his New England Patriots career this weekend as the team held rookie minicamp on Friday and Saturday.

It was the first chance for the Patriots to see their new franchise quarterback in action and although it was only a rookie minicamp, it was still beneficial for the coaching staff. Maye worked with other rookies throughout the camp, getting the first install of the playbook for his career.

There’s really nothing you can take away from rookie minicamps both good or bad but the reps are valuable for the players. And as the Patriots move forward this offseason, the hope is that Maye gets more comfortable and begins his development.
