The big-money quarterback deals in the NFL are starting to catch up to the mega extension inked by Joe Burrow with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions are the latest example, with the NFC contender hitting its veteran passer with a four-year extension worth $212 million, with $170 million of that checking in as fully guaranteed.
Last September, Burrow and the Bengals put ink to a five-year contract extension worth $275 million with $219.01 million guaranteed.
What’s interesting now is sorting the list of highest-paid quarterbacks by annual average cash. There, Burrow, Goff, Justin Herbert and Lamar Jackson command the top four slots. Here’s a look at the list of notables, from smallest to highest.
