- Week 5: vs. Carolina Panthers
- Week 6: vs. Jaguars (In London)
- Week 7: Bye Week
- Week 8: at Washington Commanders
- Week 9: vs. Arizona Cardinals
This is where things could get going for the Bears. In Weeks 5-9, they play against a few teams they should beat, in addition to having their bye week.
The Carolina Panthers come to Soldier Field in Week 5, which should be a game that the Bears win. Unless Bryce Young proves a lot of people wrong, it may be a tough year again in Carolina.
A week later, the Bears will be in London to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags are used to playing in London, so the Bears will have to adjust quickly to beat them but it can be done.
Week 7 is their bye, which will be the team’s opportunity to heal up and be ready for the stretch run of the season.
In Week 8, Chicago will be back on the road when they face the Washington Commanders and No. 2 overall pick, Jayden Daniels. As long as Daniels doesn’t turn into a superstar right away, this should be a winnable game for Chicago.
After that comes a trip out west to play the Arizona Cardinals. Like the Commanders, the Cardinals could be good, if they get good quarterback play, but nobody is scared of them now.
There is a world where the Bears win all of these games. Being 7-1 at this point would feel great but 5-3 or 6-2 feels more realistic based on the “any given Sunday” mentality.
