16 49ers either not seen or not participating at Day 2 of OTAs

The 49ers on Tuesday had their second day of OTAs and their first OTA session open to the media. One of the key takeaways from these voluntary sessions is always which players are in attendance and which ones aren’t, and which players are participating.

We can’t make any real sweeping declarations from this portion of the offseason program, but it’s still interesting to see which players are on the field.

There are a handful of reasons players may miss the sessions. Some opt to do their own private workouts. Some players are dealing with injuries while others are dealing with contract situations. Greenlaw is working his way back from a torn Achilles. He isn’t likely to be ready for training camp much less OTAs.
