Minnesota won the last four regular-season games in the series, but the Giants were the victors in the teams’ most recent meeting, in the 2022 NFC Wild Card Game. Two seasons ago, the Giants and Vikings met twice in four games in U.S. Bank Stadium. Minnesota took the regular-season game on Dec. 24, when Greg Joseph’s 61-yard field goal as time expired gave the Vikings a 27-24 triumph. In the playoff game three weeks later, Daniel Jones threw two touchdown passes and Saquon Barkley ran for two scores, including the game-winning 2-yarder with 7:47 left, as the Giants won their first postseason game in 11 years, 31-24. The Vikings are 1-1 vs. the Giants in MetLife Stadium, including a 28-10 victory on Oct. 6, 2019.

The Giants swept the season series in 2023 for the 36th time. On Oct. 22 in MetLife Stadium, the Giants scored a pair of first-half touchdowns in a 14-7 victory against the Commanders. Four weeks later, the Giants forced six turnovers and Tommy DeVito threw three touchdown passes while earning his first victory as an NFL starter in a 31-19 triumph in Washington. The Giants have faced Washington 182 times in the regular season since their first meeting in 1932, making this their most frequently contested rivalry. They are 9-4-1 vs. Washington in MetLife and 16-10-1 in Commanders Field.

Cleveland’s 2023 record: 11-6, AFC North second place, fifth playoff seed

The Giants lost the team’s most recent game but won when they last visited Cleveland. They last met on Dec. 20, 2020, when Daniel Jones missed the Sunday night game with an injury. The Giants were held to a pair of field goals in a 20-6 loss. The teams last squared off in Cleveland on Nov. 27, 2016, when three Eli Manning touchdown passes keyed a 27-13 victory.
