A recent college football top 25 list included the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Andy Staples of On3 has ranked the Huskers as we head into the post-spring and post-transfer portal periods of the college football season.
Nebraska is one of seven Big Ten teams to find themselves in the Top 25. The SEC led all conferences with nine teams ranked.
The Cornhuskers are the only team ranked in the Top 25 that did not appear in a bowl game last season. They have not appeared in a postseason game since the 2016 Music City Bowl (Loss, 24-38).
The Huskers have played in 53 bowl games all-time, with a record of 26-27. From 1969 to 2003, they played in an NCAA-record 35 straight postseason games.
