The 2025 college football recruiting cycle is off and running for Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns. There have been a bevy of projections that have the natives in Austin excited about the future of the program as the Burnt Orange prepare to make their debut in the new-look SEC.
While Quinn Ewers is set for at least one more season in Austin, the three projected commitments could be lining up out wide to catch passes from former five-star signee Arch Manning. When it comes to Texas and the offense, they are continuing to look like a loaded bunch. This unit should cause a lot of sleepless nights for SEC defensive coordinators trying to figure out how to slow them down.
Not to get too far ahead of ourselves with that line of thinking, we pulled together the projected recruiting rankings should Dakorien Moore, Jaime Ffrench, and Kaliq Lockett all commit to Sark and Texas. These projections would knock a longtime rival of Texas out of the top 10 in the 2025 class rankings.
