What an offseason it has been for Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko, as his inaugural 2024 season is just three months away, already rebuilding the roster through the transfer portal, while his work on the recruiting trail has been nothing short of spectacular. This continued on Friday, as the program added its 12th commit in four-star cornerback Adonyss Currie.
Heading into the summer, the first weekend in June will see a long list of high-priority 2025 prospects descending on College Station for a flurry of official visits, including five-star Jonah Williams, five-star Ty Haywood five-star Michael Fasusi, four-star Linkon Cure, four-star Kaliq Lockett four-star Taz Williams, and four-star Lamont Roger’s, and recently revealed, five-star quarterback commit Husan Longstreet on June 7-9.
With Currie’s commitment, Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has once again steadily risen in 247Sports’ updated rankings, now flirting with a Top 5 finish or better when it’s all said and done. With that, here is where the Aggies currently stand.
