The San Antonio Brahmas have lost a key piece this week, once again. TE Cody Latimer is done for the season, being placed on the injured reserve list. In his place, the team has re-signed Kade Warner, who was present in Training Camp.

Cody Latimer went down with a knee injury after making a spectacular grab against Birmingham. It’s unfortunate, and Offensive Coordinator A.J. Smith believed that the hit was “dirty”. Remember, the Brahmas lost Chase Garbers for several weeks due to a late hit during their week three matchup against St. Louis – so they are no strangers to these sorts of injuries.

Latimer was tremendous in the UFL, which is no surprise. He earned All-XFL honors with the Orlando Guardians, and that translated smoothly into his time with San Antonio. Cody was used primarily as a wide receiver, despite the tight end title.
Cody Latimer finishes his UFL season with 391 receiving yards and a touchdown, on 36 receptions. One of his most important catches of the year came in week two, as San Antonio completed an incredible comeback against Memphis. He had an impressive 76.1 Offensive Grade this year, via PFF.
