Penn State’s offensive line may have lost three starters to the NFL this offseason, but there is no shortage of talented players ready to replace them. Cooper Cousins could be one of those players even as a true freshman, but his path to playing time is blocked by a plethora of experienced interior linemen.
Nick Dawkins (shown above) is expected to be the new starting center, and that is the position many feel Cousins has the most potential. He has the talent to play all over the line, possibly even tackle, but all five positions have players that are either older or just as talented. He will need to win over James Franklin and the coaching staff if he wants to have any shot of seeing the field in 2024.
