CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, in partnership with University of Illinois’ New Students & Family Experiences and the Illini Moms and Dads Associations, is excited to announce the inaugural FamILLy Weekend, which will take place during the 2024 football season. The Fighting Illini’s game on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. CT against Kansas will mark the first FamILLy Weekend game at Memorial Stadium.
FamILLy Weekend will be part of three family-focused promotions throughout the fall. The Illini Moms will host the Moms Huddle Up on Saturday, Sept. 14 when Illinois hosts Central Michigan at 11 a.m. CT and the annual Dads Day is set for Saturday, Nov. 2 against Minnesota (start time TBA).
Illinois’ New Student & Family Experiences will host an exclusive FamILLy Weekend tailgate in Grange Grove at 3:30 p.m. CT prior to the Fighting Illini facing Kansas. Families interested in joining the tailgate can fill out the interest form here.
From alumni to new students to Champaign-Urbana natives, Illinois invites all members of the Illini FamILLy to take part in FamILLy Weekend. Fighting Illini Account Managers are available now to speak with fans about FamILLy Weekend tickets, tailgating, parking, and more.
