We’re starting to get into the part of the sports calendar where football is creeping toward front of mind.
Optional Team Activities took place in the NFL over the past few weeks, and now we’re rolling into mandatory minicamps for certain franchises across the league, giving us all a chance to see fresh faces in new places, and returning stars looking for another big year.
In Eugene, the focus has mainly been on the Denver Broncos, where both quarterback Bo Nix and Troy Franklin landed in the 2024 NFL Draft. So far, through one day of minicamp play, it appears that both Nix and Franklin are really showing out early on, and the reviews are highly positive so far.
