Twitter reacts to Bill Belichick at passing camp with 2025 QB prospect

Bill Belichick made an appearance at the Manning Passing Academy on Friday, and he was caught chatting it up with Alabama starting quarterback Jalen Milroe.

Considering how badly things went with the last Alabama quarterback under the former New England Patriots coach’s watch, it wasn’t surprising to see fans on social media strongly push back on the pairing.

Milroe could be one of the top quarterbacks on the 2025 NFL draft board. He threw for 2,834 passing yards, 23 touchdowns and six interceptions last season.

With Milroe under center, the Crimson Tide came one game short of a national championship appearance after losing to Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

Meanwhile, Belichick’s 24-year run in New England came to an ugly end after a 4-13 finish in 2023. Mac Jones, who was drafted by the Patriots out of Alabama in 2021, was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars after being benched multiple times as a starter under Belichick.

Granted, Jones not working in New England doesn’t mean the greatest coach of all time wouldn’t have incredible tips and knowledge to provide a young player like Milroe.

That still didn’t stop some fans from roasting the six-time Super Bowl champion. It’s also important to note that former Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia was also spotted at the camp.

So Belichick wasn’t the only one being roasted. Here’s what fans were saying on social media after seeing Belichick and Milroe:
