SEC media days opens on Monday, which means fall camp is right around the corner and the start of the 2024 college football season is weeks away. As the Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Longhorns make the move to the SEC, the landscape of the conference changes.
The challenge of reaching the conference title game grew more difficult. But with the College Football Playoff expanding to 12 teams, the door is open for three to four teams to make the playoff. If one On3 analyst is to be believed, as many as five SEC teams could make the playoff.
Each coach heads into the season under a different amount of pressure.
