2024 Chiefs player profile: WR Jaaron Hayek

The Kansas City Chiefs went all-in to solve their problems at the wide receiver position during the offseason, signing free agent Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and selecting Xavier Worthy in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft.

Behind Brown, Worthy, and second-year wideout Rashee Rice, several players, including rookie Jaaron Hayek, will have a chance to crack Kansas City’s 53-man roster during the regular season.

Though Hayek is a long shot to make the final cut after training camp, the Villanova product has the potential to develop into a solid depth option if he can gain NFL experience early in his career.

Expect Hayek to get plenty of attention during the preseason, and fight for a spot on the Chiefs’ practice squad as a rookie.
