Alabama football to kickoff the 2024 CFB season in 49 days

In 49 days, Kalen DeBoer will usher in a new era of Alabama Crimson Tide football, replacing the legendary Nick Saban as head coach in Tuscaloosa.

Coach DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Aug. 31 to kick off the 2024 college football season inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Today, with 49 days remaining, we will take a look at former standout defensive back, Rashad Johnson.

Johnson played for the Crimson Tide from  2005-08 before being selected in the third round of the 2009 NFL draft.

Johnson finished his Alabama career with 216 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two sacks, and 11 interceptions.
