Not surprisingly, the Cincinnati Bengals didn’t have much news in the early part of July.
What the team did get, though, was the conclusion of the Tee Higgins-franchise tag saga. Also, not surprisingly, that included the July 15 deadline for the parties to do a long-term extension passing without any ink meeting paper.
Otherwise, the news cycle has included some really interesting analysis about the team and one former NFL quarterback even taking a pretty big issue with Joe Burrow over the topic of season length and bye weeks.
