Browns LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah gets praise from NFL personnel

The Cleveland Browns saw one of their young players burst onto the scene when they needed him most in 2023, and as a result, linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is beginning to gather steam around the league.

Getting a Pro Bowl nod a year ago after originally being named an alternate, Owusu-Koramoah now enters his contract season in need of a new deal off the heels of his breakout campaign. And if he were to hit the open market, the Cleveland linebacker would have plenty of suitors.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler polled various scouts, coaches, and executives around the NFL to conduct a poll on who the best linebackers are. And one executive sang the praises of the now fourth-year linebacker:

“Many of us [scouts] loved his ability coming out [of the 2021 draft] but were concerned with his size, but he’s overcome that and he makes plays all over the field…You can live with the lack of instincts in some areas because he’s a playmaker with a quick trigger to the ball.”

Where Owusu-Koramoah fell on Fowler’s list might shock you. Here are all of the linebackers who received recognition and where they fell in this poll’s rankings:
