Patrick Mahomes hits Xavier Worthy deep at Chiefs training camp

Patrick Mahomes finds Hollywood Brown deep at OTAs

The Kansas City Chiefs will rely on rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy to give their offense new life in 2024 after a poor performance by the team’s pass-cathers last season.

Despite missing practices during Kansas City’s rookie minicamp earlier in the offseason, Worthy has been hard at work during the first days of the Chiefs’ training camp at Missouri Western State University, and showed off his skills in a video posted to Twitter on Thursday.

Now healthy, Worthy has received a fair amount of targets at Kansas City’s workouts, and figures to be a key part of Andy Reid’s offense moving forward.

Take a look at this clip of quarterback Patrick Mahomes connecting with Worthy downfield during practice:

Though highlights from training camp don’t always translate to regular-season success, Worthy’s speed and sure hands are sure to make him a force to be reckoned with early in his NFL career.
