Route Running
Tory Horton is one of the better route runners in this class and somehow doesn’t get recognized for it enough. He does very well running crisp routes, staying on his line, and battling defenders without getting taken off task. His route running showcases itself, especially when he is lined up outside.
Contested Catches

You wouldn’t have known that had you looked at the box score, and especially when you watch the film of the game. He is constantly getting covered well but he is able to win 50/50 balls and other contested catch scenarios time and again against one of the best cornerbacks in college football.
YAC Ability

Where he thrives is working in the slot and getting five to ten yards out of those manufactured catches. They are easy plays to execute, but the receiver makes or breaks them, and Horton thrives within that role.
