Kade Pietrzak commits to Nebraska football

The Nebraska football team landed its 17th recruit from the class of 2025 and its third top-ranked state recruit. Kade Pietrzak, the top-ranked recruit of North Dakota, announced he is committing to the Huskers.

Pietrzak is a four-star defensive lineman who is 6-feet-5 and 260 pounds. He has a 31-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-4 broad jump, and a 4.8-second 40.

He is ranked 35th in the class of 2025 for defensive lineman and helped West Fargo Sheyenne High School finish 8-3 on the season, falling in the NDHSAA Division AAA Semi-Finals. Pietrzak chose Nebraska over Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Kansas State after visiting Lincoln officially in mid-June.

This is Nebraska’s third top-ranked 2025 recruit from within its 500-mile radius. Pietrzak joins Colorado’s Tanner Terch and South Dakota’s Shawn Hammerbeck.

He also joins Omaha four-star Tyson Terry and Hitchcock, Texas four-star Malcolm Simpson as defensive line commits for the Huskers in the 2025 class.
