INDIANAPOLIS – Rutgers football made the rounds previewing the 2024 season Tuesday inside Lucas Oil Stadium. Head coach Greg Schiano was joined by RB Kyle Monangai, LB Tyreem Powell and LB Mohamed Toure representing the Scarlet Knights. The group joined Big Ten Network live in addition to meeting with national and local media across a variety of platforms.
“To be in here, we feel blessed,” Schiano said. “I really feel especially appreciative for Commissioner Petitti. The job he has done in a year, he and his staff, is just tremendous. To Tony, thank you for everything. I would be remiss if I didn’t thank our president, Jonathan Holloway. Between Jonathan and our Board of Governors, I have never felt like Rutgers, the university, the football program, have ever been more vertically aligned. That’s what it takes, make no mistake about it. From the top to the bottom, everyone has to have the same vision, and I feel like we do.”
Rutgers opens the season Thursday, Aug. 29 at SHI Stadium versus Howard. Season and individual game tickets are on sale. To purchase, visit ScarletKnights.com/tickets or call 866-445-GORU (4678).
