The Auburn Tigers experienced quite a month of July.
After trending downward to the end of June, Auburn picked up steam toward the end of July thanks to a successful Big Cat Weekend which resulted in five commitments. Auburn flipped four-star talent in Derick Smith and Antonio Coleman from Alabama, added four-star defensive backs Anquon Fegans and Blake Woodby, and the nation’s No. 2 punter in John Alan McGuire to its 2025 haul during the final week of the month.
In all, Auburn added seven commitments to its 2025 class. Joining the names above are three-star tight end Hollis Davidson and three-star OL Jacobe Ward, who pledged to Auburn on July 4 and 6 respectively.
Entering August, Auburn has 21 commits for the 2025 cycle and ranks No. 5 nationally according to 247Sports. How does Auburn’s 2025 haul stack up with the rest of the SEC? Here is a look at the SEC’s recruiting rankings ahead of the busy month of August.
