Stock Up | Jets Who Have Impressed Early in Training Camp

Many players have flashed over the first seven practices of training camp, but here are three players/themes that have been trending up.

The Chemistry Between Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson
This may seem obvious, but it’s impossible to ignore the fast start from Rodgers and Wilson. Their rapport, which was apparent this time last year, has been more pronounced early in camp.

The pair has consistently connected on all three levels of the passing game, highlighted by two deep passes where Wilson sprung free with fans in attendance at 1 Jets Drive. In Wednesday’s practice, Rodgers and Wilson combined for three red-zone touchdowns.

“Eight (Rodgers) and Garrett, they definitely on a different zone right now,” CB D.J. Reed said last week. “With their chemistry, they’re doing stuff on the go. They’re running certain routes where if you over pursue, they are running another route. They’re definitely in a different element, but it’s ultimately going to make me better.”
